New Entrants
- To kick off our new entrants for the week, we have a new duo by the name of Silk City. The duo actually consists of Diplo and Mark Ronson, the latter who was behind one of the biggest hits of this decade (And I'm sure you guys can guess what it is) while the former currently with a song I will not mention. They are collaborating with Dua Lipa, the hottest artist in the planet, in their debut single titled Electricity. I LOVE THIS SONG as much as her collaboration with Calvin Harris "One Kiss".
- Shawn Mendes' Lost In Japan (his remix with Zedd) is next official single off of his self-titled album, and it's a song that sounds lil off than the recent Zedd's mixes he did with The Middle and Happy Now but it works to give a newer sound for Shawn Mendes. Shawn shows that he has a smooth voice and when combined with the smooth groove I'm glad he chose it as a single over another song of his, Nervous. I'm sure it'll do well.
-The Chainsmokers' collaboration with country singer Kelsea Ballerini This Feeling is in this weeks countdown. After a string of mediocre songs, the four singles between Side Effects and Something Just Like This are big disappointments, they managed to continue their improvement with the release of this song, which is ABOSULTLY AMAZING. First off, Kelsea has a great voice and she uses it well throughout the song. We also get an improvement in Drew's voice, back to the voice styling he had in Closer. The production we get from these guys is wonderful. Here's to hoping it ends up doing well in here.
Best Debut Of The Week: The Chainsmokers f/ Kelsea Ballerini – This Feeling
High Blurbs
- Taylor Swift, who's Delicate has the biggest drop this week, did perform her new single I Did Something Bad from Reputation at the American Music Awards. The live performance is so-so but the recording is ok
- On the upswing It's really, really nice to see Happy Now not only getting the biggest jump of the week, but also enter the Top 10! It can be a pleasent suprise top 3 hit.
- Dan + Shay's Tequila looks like its mini spark didn't help here and could be on its way down
- Like Solo, WTFF is ppl supports songs like Weezer's Africa and LSD's Thunderclouds? Please they are not good. Glad the wedding I attended to played Toto's original classic instead of the reboot.
- Shotgun, on the other hand, is definitely welcomed in the Top 20. Its a wonderful tune. I don't know why its not gaining airplay elsewhere.

Entrant Reviews:
- We get a re-entry from Shawn Mendes – Nervous So, that leaves us with two new songs entering Hit-Bound this week.
- First, we wish Halsey a belated 24th Birthday this past week, so Happy Birthday to her! Anyway, she has her latest release titled Without Me. To put it short, I'm not fond with the song. I find Halsey's vocals to be somewhat a downgrade. More on this when it inevitably debuts, but the song is closer to red for me than it is green.
- Second, we have Lady Gaga with her latest new single titled I'll Never Love Again, which is taken from A Star Is Born movie soundtrack. It's a slow, piano ballad that works well for Lady Gaga. The song, which is to her what Evergreen is to Striesand, is moving and mesmerizing. This is probably her best song from a lyrical standpoint. I'll talk more about this when it debuts.
- Loud Luxury f/ brando – Body is just a simple catchy tune, no special here.

Song Reviews:
- Dinah Jane collaboration with Marc E. Bassy and Ty Dolla $ign Bottled Up. There's not a whole lot there that is special. It's catchy for sure.
- HRVY's I Wish You Were Here is a song that need a lil work ... not fond of it
- Jess Glynne's latest single, 123, is pretty low key but it works. I always like Jess' unique voice and she knows how to take advantage of it. Most definately the best of the newest songs on YouTube 15
- Mike Posner, who was behind I Took A Pill From Ibiza, a self testimonial from 2016, released a new single titled Song About You. This one is not as good as his last one but the production is manageable. Nothing special for me here. it could be around for a while.
- Finally, we have Tiffany Young with Teach You. Right off the bat, I'm not truly feeling this one. The weird noise in the song just annoys me sounds childish. I don't really like Tiffany's voice. She just sounds childish as well. Worst song of the week
