First my symphathies to Marty Balin's family. The male lead singer of both Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship as well solo singer of the Top 10 hit "Hearts" died Thursday, September 27th at age 76. NOW here's the songs we are saying goodbye to this week:
Cardi B – I Like It (#40)
Madison Beer – Home With You (#41)
PRETTYMUCH – Summer On You (#42)
Dennis Lloyd – Nevermind (#43)
Drake – In My Feelings (#45)
~ Nothing special here on the exits. I did not picture any of them lasting long and they weren't that great. I Like It, Home With You, Summer On You, and In My Feelings just don't cut it for me. Nevermind just didn't get going unlike in the Billboard Alt charts (currently #3)

New Entrants
~ The Vamps - Just My Type. Not a bad song but I don't see it last long in survey
~ Bryce Vine - Drew Barrymore. There isn't much to say about this one. Its dying in AT40 and won't last in Hits1
~ Kim Petras - Heart To Break. This is a really good and catchy song in my opinion. I wish some success for it
~ Anne-Marie - 2002. Its just as awful as Friends. NEXT.
~Panic! At The Disco – Hey Look Ma, I Made It. The third single from Pray For The Wicked joins "Say Amen" and "High Hopes", which are also two great songs, into the Hits1 countdown. It's catchy and the use of the horns in the chorus works, unlike every AJR tune. Brendon sounds great as usual. It's honestly just a fun tune and I'm sure it'll do well here and will later down the line debuts in Billboard's Alterative Chart and/or AT40.
Best Debut of the Week: Panic! At The Disco – Hey Look Ma, I Made It
Hit-Bound
~ Here is the Hit-Bound list.
Loud Luxury/brando – Body
Twenty One Pilots – My Blood (DEBUT)
Jason Derulo & David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Willy William – Goodbye
The Chainsmokers/Kelsea Ballerini – This Feeling (DEBUT)
The Struts/Kesha – Body Talks
Benny Blanco/Halsey/Khalid – Eastside
Calvin Harris/Sam Smith – Promises
Walk The Moon – Kamikaze
Tiësto & Dzeko/Preme/Post Malone – Jackie Chan
Silk City/Dua Lipa – Electricity
Pitbull/Theron Theron – Free Free Free
Shawn Mendes/Zedd – Lost In Japan (DEBUT)
Alex Aiono – Big Mistake (DEBUT)
Ariana Grande – Breathin (DEBUT)
~ Twenty One Pilots – My Blood. It's a good song and doing well on Billboard n Mediabase Alt Charts. So I wouldn't mind seeing it debut soon here.
~ The Chainsmokers/Kelsea Ballerini – This Feeling. I think this is another wonderful step in the right direction for these guys. I always like the whole male/female duet with The Chainsmokers and this duet between Drew and country star Kelsea is no different. I think both of their voices sound good here. The production could be better. The four singles between "Side Effects" and "Something Just Like This" are big disappointments and this is better than them. I can recommend this to enter Hits1 and AT40
~ Shawn Mendes/Zedd – Lost In Japan (Remix). Replacing "Nervous", we have the remix which is a lot better single than the one that was hit bound. Zedd's mixes is a lil off than ones he did with "The Middle" and "Happy Now" but it works to give a newer sound for Shawn Mendes.. I can recommed this to enter in a few weeks.
~ Alex Aiono – Big Mistake The song is fun and catchy and I like his voice. This song can have staying power in Hits1 and AT40 charts. This is my favorite HitBound debut this week
~ Same goes here, Ariana Grande – Breathin. This song could debut in the Hits1 chart next week. Airplay is exteremly increasing in the past two weeks. This is easily the favorite of the three singles we've gotten so far. Everything from her vocals to the production work very well here.
Top 5 Hit-Bound Picks
1. (TIE) Alex Aiono – Big Mistake
1. (TIE) Ariana Grande – Breathin
3. Silk City/Dua Lipa – Electricity
4. Shawn Mendes/Zedd – Lost In Japan
5. The Chainsmokers/Kelsea Ballerini – This Feeling
Heart To Blurb
~ DJ Khaled/Justin Bieber/Chance The Rapper/Quavo – No Brainer Its at the very bottom of the countdown. All of these artists have done better. This song is just bland and a little childish. I know DJ Khaled is capable of more. He used to be hardcore in his productions in the past. This is not worse as "I'm The One", but great chance to exit next week
~ Marshmello/Anne-Marie – Friends OK leave like a tree.
~ Train/Cam/Travie McCoy – Call Me Sir ...Same as above.
~ Clean Bandit/Demi Lovato – Solo I am not fond of this song. But by being the Big Dropper in only its second week is a nail in any coffin in my book.
~ NF-Lie This week's Biggest Jump has a chance to enter the top 10 a week or two. His song sounds good and tries not sound exactly like "Let You Down"
~ Dan + Shay – Tequila finally getting mainstream airplay ...after first entering 36 weeks ago on Billboard Hot Country charts...speaking of that chart, "Meant to Be" by Bebe n FGL has been at No 1 ever since it entered it 43 weeks ago thus preventing "Tequila" to be #1...can't believe people still listening and streaming it
